Abshot Pond is a classic style of shallow farm pond located in Fareham, in the county of Hampshire. It has ten swims, all of which include features like lilies or reeds. The body of water is thriving with true crucian carp, rudd, roach, perch, and specimen tench, among other species of fish.
The water is considered to be of Class A quality by the National Crucian Society and is maintained in a manner consistent with that of premium true crucian water. There is no official closed season on this body of water, but it may be closed shortly for fishery management reasons.
