Fishery Information
Located near beautiful Bristol, Acorn Carp Fishery opened its doors to visitors in June 2001. With 16 pegs, the specimen lake is a 3.5-acre carp lake that is home to about 550 carp, 300 of which are doubles, 200 mid doubles, 30 high doubles and 20 up to 30 lbs.. This water is netted each year to collect smaller carp. All small carp collected are stocked into the smaller pond.
This lake is open all year round and the main lake is available for 24-hour fishing. Only barbless hooks are allowed here. Dogs, nuts, peas, luncheon meat, braided line and leadcore are not allowed for fishing on this water. Boilies are only allowed for main hook bait or spodding. PVA bag or pellets, pop-ups, and waffters can be used.
The Paddock or match lake is available for day sessions only. No night fishing on this water.
They allow exclusive full lake bookings, but it is recommended to give them a call first to assist with the custom bookings that cater to your needs.
Day tickets are available for fishing on the Paddock Lake, but concessions are not available.
