Within the breathtaking grounds of Syon Park in West London, Albury Estate Fisheries is in charge of managing four different fisheries. The surrounding area of the Surrey Hills is renowned for its exceptional natural beauty and fly fishing enthusiasts will find some of the best opportunities in the Home Counties within the following lakes.
At the Syon Park located in the 200-acre parkland of Syon House, anglers may enjoy outstanding fly fishing just 8 miles from the heart of London.
There are three lakes at Weston Fishery, each of which has a reasonable average depth and plenty of bank space and open back cast places to cast from. The lakes are fed by spring water.
Still-water and stream fishing are both available on Vale End’s four acres of land. It has access to the Tillingbourne River and includes both Mill Lake and Belmont Lake. An abundance of shade and natural cover are provided by the well-established stands of alder and crack willow, which contribute to the beauty of the location.
Chilworth is home to Powder Mills, which spans four acres with natural surroundings. The Tillingbourne flows on two sides of the lake, providing anglers with access to some of the best fishing chances available in small streams.
Park Lake is a naturally stunning location that boasts superb trees, rhododendrons, and azaleas, and it is also home to some of the finest lake and stream fishing in the area. The peaceful lake that spans 1.5 acres has Albury rainbow trout that put up a good fight. The use of this lake is restricted to syndicate Members only.
You have the freedom to fish at any of the Albury Estate Fisheries lakes on any day with a Season Membership (excluding Park Lake). You can schedule and pay for a single day of fishing at Vale End and Weston Lakes in Albury as well as during the winter months at Syon Park in London if you have a day membership.
After 5 o’clock in the evening throughout the summer, visitors can take advantage of a discounted rate to reach Vale End and Weston. Mandatory advance reservations are a requirement.
