Anglers Paradise is nestled on over 250 acres teeming with wildlife, and its position makes it an excellent base for exploring the entirety of the Westcountry. It is within a 25-minute drive from some of the most stunning beaches in the area, and feature some fantastic walking trails. There are more than 30 beautiful lakes here, making it possible to fish at a variety of skill levels.
Residents have access to 12 private lakes and more than 4 miles of bank fishing, making it easy to get away from it all and enjoy the peaceful rural life. In addition to the 12 exclusive lakes, there are also some magnificent lakes inside the estate that are accessible to day ticket anglers.
The lakes are home to a wide variety of spectacular fish species, among which are: Carp, Grass Carp, Koi, Wels Catfish, Golden Tench, Golden Orfe, Golden Rudd, Blue Orfe, Blue Tench, Perch, Gudgeon, Bream, Chub, Barbel, and Five Species of Trout.
12 Lakes exclusive only to residents are: Main Carp Lake, Specimen Carp Lake, Specimen Tench, Orfe Lake, Octopussy Lake, Easy Access Lake Koi Lake, Float Lake, Mystery Lake, Beginners Carp Lake, Tench Lake, Magic Lake, and Pixie Lake. Day Ticket Lakes are: Nirvana Lakes, Eldorado Lakes, Anglers Shangri La, and Valhalla – new Pike lak.
What size do the fish go to?
Catfish to over 60lbs the odd Carp to 30lb, Golden Carp and Koi to over 10lbs+, Grass Carp to 25lbs.
What tactics work well?
Pole, Waggler, Feeder and Float fishing with baits such as Halibut Pellets, Luncheon Meat, and Paradise Baits Catastrophic.
