Fishery Information
Located at the 42-acre Apex Leisure and Wildlife Park, Apex Lake offers visitors a relaxing fishing experience away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was once an area of clay digging where several pits were excavated and when these were later flooded, they became lakes which are now home to abundant wildlife.
Highbridge Angling Association holds the fishing rights for this lake. This water is well-stocked with carp and bream. Permits are required for this fishery and can be obtained from Thyers Tackle Shop.

There is a large car park available on site, which extends from Marine Drive to within 100 feet of the lake. Parking is free but overnight stops by campers are not allowed.
