Because the club leased the 7 acres of water on the north side of Wick Lane after Ardleigh shuttered the trout fishing facility in the year 2000, they were able to continue the fly fishing heritage even after Ardleigh closed the facility. </p> <p>In 2017, they took over the lease of the second water at <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="https://www.fisheryguide.co.uk/fisheries-in-hull/" title="Hull" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Hull</a> Farm, which has been very fruitful for them thus far. Carp, pike, bream, tench, rudd, perch, and even some eels are among the fish species found in the lakes. </p><div id="ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-110" data-inserter-version="2"></div> <p>Seasonal permit holders are the only ones allowed to fish at night.
