The Armigers Lakes are located in a tranquil stretch of countryside in North West Essex and are easily accessible. The main features are two adjacent lakes with a long history of coarse fishing.
The lakes are perfect for serious anglers as well as day trip fisherman and women. Even in the winter, the lakes can produce respectable catches. They receive their water from neighboring streams.
A match carp’s weight can easily exceed 100 lbs, and a pleasure carp’s weight can easily exceed twice that. all day fishing is permissible all year round but night fishing is only possible through prior arrangement.
