Year-round fishing is available to guests staying in the site accommodation or for those who have stayed over the previous year. There are a total of two fishing lakes which are around 30 ft from the accommodation, and a ‘catch and return’ policy is in operation.
This mixed fishery contains Carp, Chudd, Rudd, Roach, Perch, Tench and Skimmers.
There are a total of 16 swims and 2 disabled access pegs.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp, which have been described as ‘cracking sport on their day’, have frequently been caught here and can weigh up to 10 lbs.
What tactics work well?
Surface fishing and shallow tactics have proven to be very successful, particularly in the warmer months.
Bigger baits, large pellets, corn and big cubes of meat are effective in both deterring some of the smaller silvers and attracting larger Carp.
Is parking available?
On-site parking is available, as well as toilet facilities, disabled access and platforms.
