Fishery Information
Bagwood Lake is situated on Woodlands Golf Course near Bradley Stoke in Bristol. The size of the pond is approximately 4 acres, and there are approximately 250 carp in it. Before you set up your fishing equipment in this spot, you will need to make sure that you have a ticket, which can be purchased from the pro shop.
The holder of a day time ticket is permitted to fish for a maximum of 12 hours during the period beginning at 7 in the morning and ending at 7 in the evening. The holder of a night time ticket is permitted to fish for a maximum of twelve hours between the hours of seven o’clock in the evening and seven o’clock in the morning.
The holder of a 24-hour ticket is permitted to fish for up to a total of 24 hours, beginning with any period that began 24 hours prior to 7 a.m. the following day. Children younger than 14 years old are required to have an adult with them at all times.

What tactics work well?
The most effective strategy involves tossing enormous P.V.A. bags stuffed with maggots from the swims located on either side of the lake. Alternately, during the winter months, it is fine to place a single white pop-up approximately one foot from the ground.
