Fishery Information
Bakers Puddle is in the heart of the beautiful countryside of Suffolk. It is a private fishing lake owned and maintained by a family who really takes care of the fish in the lake. This has allowed the lake to grow and mature into one of the best in the region.
Fishing is available at Bakers Puddle for day ticket holders and season ticket holders too. There are some very impressive fish in this lake too. Whether you are a carp angler or match-style angler, there is a fish in this lake that you’d love to add to your list.
What size do the fish go to?
There are some beautiful carp in this lake that go up to 35lbs. There is a stunning koi carp in this lake as well that is double figures and breath-taking beautiful. There are also tench and bream to 4lbs, rudd and perch to 2lbs. Also, perch, chub and crucian carp to a few pounds too.
What tactics work well?
Carp anglers will want to take advantage of the reed beds around the margins of the lake. If you arrive early, you can see the carp moving through the reeds, and a single hook bait close in could seal the deal. For match-style fishing, a method feeder within a baited zone will produce a feeding frenzy for hours.
What facilities are on site?
Bakers Puddle has toilets, mains water and electrical hookups for motorhomes.
Is parking available?
Parking is available right next to the lake.
