The Burnley and Pendle District Angling Association works with the Pendle Borough Council to manage the fishing lake at Ball Grove. You can purchase your fishing day licenses to fish on the Lake from the Lakeside Cafe. Additionally, river fishing permits, both annual and daily, are available for purchase at this exact location.
The water depths range from one to two meters, covering approximately 2.5 acres, with approximately 20 fishing pegs available. Among those, about four are accessible to anglers with disabilities. The Common, Mirror, and Crucian carp, as well as Bream, Roach, Rudd, Tench, and Perch, are plenty in this body of water.
