Barnacre Coarse Fishery is a well-established private one-acre lake located in a rural location at Wirral, Merseyside. It provides excellent fishing opportunities for anglers of varying skill levels.
There is a high and sustainable stocking rate in the lake, so fishing is possible throughout the year. All of the fish are either bred and raised on the premises, or purchased from carefully vetted, licensed, and insured fish suppliers certified by the Environment Agency.
The well-maintained fishery is abundantly stocked with a wide variety of high-quality fish in large numbers and healthy weights. Common Carp, Mirror Carp, Bream, Tench, Perch, Roach, Rudd, Chub, and Barbel are just some of the fish found here.

What facilities are on site?
There is a lovely oak lodge close to the lake. The lodge offers toilet facilities, refreshments, and a sheltered viewing verandah.
