Lake Betchcott, a Popular Fishing Spot Tucked away in the spectacular South Shropshire hills to the west of the Long Mynd near Church Stretton, is a mature well-stocked stream fed pool that spans two and a half acres. It is approximately five minutes’ walk from the farm, and although only members are permitted on the lake, guests can fish there. Upon arrival at the cottage, each guest is provided with a unique number that corresponds to the lock on the gate.

Carp, tench, golden orfe, bream, roach, and barbell are just some of the fish that thrive in this body of water.
