Fishery Information
Controlled by the Big Waters Angling Club, Big Water is located at Seaton Burn, just north of Newcastle. This 22-acre lake offers excellent fishing for carp, bream, roach, rudd and tench. Carp go up to 26 lbs and bream to 7 lbs. This water continues to produce good roach and bream catches throughout the winter months. Pleasure nets over 20 lbs are not uncommon.
