Fishery Information
Controlled by the Windermere, Ambleside & District Angling Association, Blelham Tarn is a members only water. This beautiful, reed fringed fishery boasts a good stock of trout, pike to 26 lbs, perch to 2 lbs, eels to 2 lbs and roach to 2 lbs.
Only 2 swims are available on site – one on the southern shore adjacent to the boathouse and one on a rocky outcrop on the eastern shore. Overnight fishing is not permitted. Day tickets are not available on site.

Pike go to 26 lbs, perch to 2 lbs, eels to 2 lbs and roach to 2 lbs.
What tactics work well?
Maggot, caster and sweetcorn work well for fishing during summer.
