Fishery Information
Bluebell Park Fishery offers three well-stocked pools, located in the beautiful Mid Wales countryside. With easy access and parking, the site also includes a reception area with a tackle shop, bait sales, and a kitchen for food and drinks. The three pools cater to a variety of angling abilities and preferences.
Sycamore Lake
Sycamore Lake is a specimen lake for leisure anglers, stocked with a variety of spectacularly colored carp, including ghosties, commons, fully scaled mirrors, linear, and leather carp. These fish range in color from white, orange, yellow to blue and can weigh up to double figures. Tench up to 3lb, Bream up to 4lb, some hybrids, silvers, and Chub up to 8lb are also present. Anglers should use at least a 10lb line for the weight and fight.
Silver Birch Pool
Silver Birch Pool is a small pool stocked with silver fish only, such as Roach, Rudd, Skimmer Bream, and Gudgeon up to 1lb. It is ideal for winter fishing, beginners, and novices requiring coaching. Small baits like maggots, castors, and pinkies are recommended, and an elasticated whip is all you need.
Popular Lake
Located in a sunny position all year round, Popular Lake is a recently landscaped lake with an accessible island offering 30 pegs. The lake is stocked with Carp, F1’s, Roach, Rudd, Bream, and Ide, making it suitable for matches.
