Fishery Information
Located within a short distance of the scenic village of Bridgnorth, Boldings Fishing Pools offers fantastic fishing to the keen Carp angler. The venue is substantial in size, with over 300 pegs across 14 pools. Furthermore, each pool varies in size, starting from 10 peg sites and going all the way up to 50 peg waters. Importantly, all pegs are spacious and several of them also offer access to disabled and elderly anglers.
The facility is open to everyone, from pleasure anglers to more seasoned match anglers. The waters are all well stocked with a good variety of Bream, perch, Tench, Roach and Carp.
What size do the fish go to?
Bream, Tench, Roach and Perch typically weigh between 3 and 8 lbs. Additionally, carp are landed with frequency in double figures, with larger fish exceeding 20lbs.
What tactics work well?
Common still water methods are popular. Moreover, sweetcorn, worms, prawn and maggots are all popular choices of bait. Also, throughout the summer months, utilising pellets and boilies is beneficial.
What facilities are on site?
The on-site café sells a range of freshly prepared food as well as other refreshments. Furthermore, clean and accessible toilet facilities are open to visitors.
