Fishery Information
Located in idyllic and tranquil Fazeley, Tamworth, Bonehill Mill Fishery offers a choice of 3 waters that provide a wonderful fishing experience.
Dale’s Pool is the largest water on this venue. This 6-acre pool has 42 pegs and is stocked with an impressive number of carp and silvers. This lake is fairly shallow, which means that carp zoom off sideways when you hook into them. Large silverfish are a good target during winter months.
On the other hand, Ashley’s Pool is 1-acre match water with 26 pegs. Pole fishing works well on this pool but some anglers also prefer to use pellet waggler, especially during warmer months.
Sophie’s Pool is a canal style water with 14 pegs. Numerous matches are being held here each year.
Main species present in the pools include carp, bream, roach, tench and F1s.
Day tickets and concessions are available for this fishery. This fishing venue is open all year round.
Only barbless hooks are allowed. Floating baits, keepnets, elasticised feeders, braid, dogs, litter and peanuts/tiger nuts are not allowed. They only allow pellets purchased on site. Groundbait is allowed only via pole-cup and feeders.
