Located in the non-metropolitan county of North Yorkshire, Brickyard Fishery Ripon is a former clay pit and associated brickworks that date back to the 1880s. The old pits were formed into 3 separate lakes in the 1990s and then turned into coarse fishing lakes. The fishery was renovated and restocked in 2019. This venue is situated on the Ripon to Thirsk road about 3 miles out of Ripon.
Fish species present include carp to over 30 lbs, roach to 2 lbs, bream to 10 lbs, perch to 4 lbs, rudd, tench and barbel.
