Fishery Information
Situated in a beautiful countryside setting near Blacktoft, Brough, Brickyard Pond offers excellent fishing to the keen carp angler. The site is a mature clay pit that hosts a variety of different fishing features.
The depth of the water ranges between 10 and 15ft, with healthy stocks Bream, Tench, Perch, Roach, Pike and Carp being available.
The site is open from 5am-10pm and is fully secured with a locked gate. Anglers are asked to take special care and not drive towards the factory ground or block of any private access points.
What size do the fish go to?
Bream, Perch, Tench and Roach tend to come in between 2-7lbs. Carp and Pike are frequently landed in double figures, with larger fish reaching over 30lbs.
What tactics work well?
Standard still water tactics tend to work well. Using a feeder with sweetcorn or worms is helpful in enticing the larger Carp. Throughout the warmer months, anglers should consider utilising pellets and boilies.
What facilities are on site?
Clean and accessible toilet facilities are open to visitors.
