Fishery Information
This fishery is run by Pulborough Angling Society.
A small, approximately half-acre pond with depths ranging between 2-3 ft. The pond has reed-lined banks, fish-holding weed beds, and abundant bankside cover, offering our members a slightly more traditional fishing environment.
What size do the fish go to?
The pond is stocked with mixed species, including Carp, Bream, Tench, Roach, and Rudd.
What tactics work well?
The pond responds well to float-fished baits such as maggot and bread.
What facilities are on site?
As this pond is located within the Brinsbury College Campus, specific fishery rules apply, which can be found in your membership book. Please ensure you are familiar with these rules before fishing. Additionally, the fishery is closed during the statutory close season.
However, it’s worth noting that this pond offers a more traditional fishing experience, reminiscent of Mr. Crabtree’s fishing tales.
Is parking available?
New parking enforcement has been implemented on the campus at Brinsbury College using ANPR cameras, which affects access to the pond. To reach the pond, anglers have to drive through the college’s car parks and are required to pay for access. Following the provided instructions is crucial to avoid a £100.00 fine for illegal parking.
