Fishery Information
The 6-acre Coarse Lake at Bron Eifion is classified as a commercial fishery, and it has been featured on television and in national fishing magazines on a regular basis. It has a well-deserved reputation as one of the most densely stocked lakes in Wales and the surrounding region of the North West.
The lakes are situated in a tranquil and pleasant environment, surrounded by ancient woodlands and trees. They serve a diverse group of anglers, ranging from complete beginners to seasoned match anglers, as well as specimen and pleasure anglers alike.
Among the many species found in the lakes are Carp weighing in excess of 20 pounds, Chubs, Barbel, Bream, Tench, Gudgeon, Orfe and a variety of other species. The lake’s all-time weight record is 27 pounds.
