Fishery Information
Situated near Dartford town centre, Brookland’s Lakes is a 17-acre gravel pit complex with a variety of accessible fishing spots. The location was one of the early pioneering waters of modern carp fishing and boasts a healthy stock to this day.
Up to 30 pegs are available on location and a healthy stock of Carp, Trench, Bream, Roach and Perch live alongside other species such as Pike and Eels.
Day tickets come in at £12. One-night costs £21, two nights £35 and children under 15 can fish for £3.
What size do the fish go to?
The Carp average in at around 20lbs and the Bream tend to be around 7lbs. However, it is not uncommon for Carp to reach over 30lbs, and match and pleasure catches have totalled over 80lbs during the warmer months.
What tactics work well?
Ground bait feeder tactics often yield substantial bags of Bream. Boilies and floaters tend to work well for the carp. Barbless hooks are recommended but this is not compulsory.
Is parking available?
