Located in a serene and picture-perfect part of South West Scotland, Broom Fisheries is home to some of the best lakes and waters for coarse fishing in Scotland. The fishery features over 100 coarse pegs generously spaced out across multiple lakes tucked away in a rural estate that spans 200 acres.
Because the waters have a stock of thousands of high-quality fish, you will have a fantastic chance to reel in barbel, roach, tench, perch, bream, and a wide variety of carp, as well as ide, gudgeon, and chub. If you are looking for something more than just recreational fishing, the fishery hosts, regular tournaments that are not only a lot of fun but also give you the opportunity to connect with other individuals who share your enthusiasm for fishing.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp – mirror, common 24lbs+

What tactics work well?
Method and cage feeder with pellet, corn, and maggot are all effective ways for rod fishing. During the warmer months, waggler float fishing in shallow water with pellet or maggot can be an extremely effective technique. Pole fishing with chopped worm and caster, maggot, pellet, and sweetcorn as bait will also catch you some good fish.
