Brooms Cross, situated on the outskirts of Liverpool, provides anglers of all ages and abilities with a tranquil, safe, and secure venue to fish. The fishery mainly stocks carp and coarse fish, and it offers breathtaking panoramas of the Alt Valley, Clieves Hill, Rivington Pike, and Ince Blundell Estate. Fishing is available at the Owl Tree Pond, and Upper and Lower Alt Lakes.
The Owl Tree Pond is a one-acre canal-style body of water well stocked with carp, roach, bream, tench, perch, small chub, and gudgeon. The pond is ideal for matches, pleasure fishing, and for anglers who are just starting out. When construction on the new structure is finished, each of the twenty pegs will accommodate wheelchair users.
Regardless of whether you prefer to have a day of rod-bending action with the coarse species on the well-stocked Owl Tree Pond or spend a few days trying to catch one of the many elusive monster carp in the Upper and Lower Alt Lakes, Brooms Cross will suit your needs.
