Fishery Information
Carr Side Farm Fishery is next to the historic and charming village of Ince Blundell, not far from Liverpool in Merseyside. It consists of four lakes – three natural ponds and one man-made – on a private farm and is easily reached by way of the local road networks.
Each of the three smaller lakes and the large man-made lake offer challenging fishing with a variety of features, and there are plenty pegs available so you can find your preferred type of spot. Access to the ponds is not the best and disabled persons or wheelchair users may find it difficult.
The lakes are stocked with plenty of carp, tench, perch and roach all of good sizes. Indeed, a regional carp record of 27lb 6oz was noted here. It is believed there are carp of 30lb and more in the lakes.
This is a popular and pleasant fishery with tree-lined banks and lovely scenery that makes for a charming place to visit. Reports say that perch are prevalent in all the waters which adds to the challenge of catching a specimen carp. Day tickets are available at very reasonable prices.
