Fishery Information
Carrickmannon Fishery offers a range of facilities and methods to suit everyone. Fly fishing is available from both boat or bank, while bait or spinning methods are allowed from the bank only. The fishery is open all year from 09:00. Children 10 years and under must be supervised by an adult.
What size do the fish go to?
The fly pond is regularly stocked with rainbow trout up to 10lb. There’s also a children’s pond that is heavily stocked.
What tactics work well?
Fly fishing, bait, and spinning tactics work well here. Boats, which are available for hire, can be used for fly fishing, but bait or spinning methods are restricted to the bank only.
What facilities are on site?
The fishery provides a range of facilities, including a car park, toilet, small shop, barbecue and picnic areas. Catering is available with a cafe on-site. There is also a bait pond specifically for worm fishing.
Is parking available?
Yes, on-site parking is available for anglers and visitors.
