Anglers can find the Charford Farm Fishery on the Hampshire Avon, just on the fringes of the New Forest National Park. The spot is roughly 10 miles south of Salisbury.
Charford features four miles of fishable bank, with some side streams and weir pools for both game and coarse fishing.
Fishing at this location is private, with a membership required.
Salmon was the catch of the day for a long time at Charford Farm Fishery, but changes have been implemented and this spot is now a paradise for coarse fishing. The spot holds chub and barbel, the main targets for serious anglers.
Dace show up in good numbers in the summer and autumn months, while a complement of roach, carp, perch, bream, and pike hit up the waters alongside trout and salmon.
