Fishery Information
Located on the outskirts of Winchester, the Church Paddock Trout Fishery is an exciting and versatile modern site. This lake itself is one and a half acres of fishing glory settled in five acres of beautifully landscaped grounds.
Church Paddock has been functioning as a fishery since 2011.
The lakes are stocked with plenty of rainbow trout, blue trout, and brown trout.
Booking is recommended, as this place can fill up quickly.
What size do the fish go to?
Stock is replaced regularly at the Church Paddock Trout Fishery. Trout range from two pounds to the double-digits, so there’s plenty of variety in the water and plenty of challenges for anglers of all ages.
What facilities are on site?
There is a fishing hut. It features hot and cold drinks, plus alcoholic beverages. A small tackle shop is located at the fishing hut, where anglers can stock up on flies, leaders, and other supplies.
There is a deck that overlooks the grounds.
Church Paddock boasts a smokery that cold smokes rainbow trout and brown trout. Hot smoking is also done on the property. Visitors can purchase products from the smokery, including hot and cold smoked trout, various relishes, and smoked trout pate.
A smoking service is available if anglers wish for Church Paddock to smoke their catches.
Church Paddock accepts bookings for weddings. The site holds up to 120 guests. Catering and other amenities must be arranged elsewhere, but the grounds at this facility can make for an excellent ceremony experience.
Group bookings can also be held on location. Food bookings are possible with reservations.

There is ample parking at Church Paddock.
