Fishery Information
Controlled by the Warrington Anglers Association, Cicely Mill Pool is a members only water that is home to stunning common carp to 32 lbs, roach, tench, bream and crucian carp. This shallow, weedy mill pool has a depth of up to 3.5 feet and most of its swims are 1 to 2 feet deep.
Fishing on site is restricted to the dedicated fishing platforms provided. 1/3 of the lake is set aside for conservation and members are not allowed to access this area.
Night fishing is not allowed. Use of keep nets is prohibited.

Carp go up to 32 lbs.
What tactics work well?
Fishing is best early morning or late evening. Pole or tip methods with baits such as sweet corn or meat are popular with anglers. Waggler fishing is also possible but could be awkward due to the shallow water.
