Fishery Information
Located in the idyllic and tranquil village of Clavering, Clavering Lakes consists of a specimen carp lake, a match lake and a silverfish lake that offer excellent coarse and carp fishing. These waters are well-stocked with crucian carp, common carp, mirror carp, roach, perch, tench, rudd and bream.
Silverfish Lake is a 1.5-acre water with 16 swims. It is home to bream to 6 lbs, roach to 2 lbs, perch to 4 lbs, brown goldfish, crucian carp and tench.
The Match Lake is a 2-acre water heavily stocked with all species of coarse fish. This lake is evenly pegged with a total of 17 swims.
Specimen Carp Lake is a 3.5 acre water with over 40 swims. It is home to large fish to 40 lbs, including roach to 3 lbs and perch to 5 lbs.
Visitors of all ages are welcome, but children under 10 years of age should be accompanied by an adult. Night fishing is permitted only for anglers 15 years old and above.
