Fishery Information
Claygate Lakes is a serene fishery that offers anglers not only excellent sporting potential but also a relaxing environment to enjoy their favorite hobby. Located just a short drive from the village of Marden on the B2162 between Collier Street and White Hart Pub, the fishery is easily accessible via all major roads and motorways. The lakes are open all year round to clubs, day ticket anglers, and night anglers.
Facilities and Location
The fishery covers an area of 10 acres and features three exceptional lakes, surrounded by beautiful landscapes. A large car park is available, suitable for cars and coaches alike. The new owners have taken over in 2011, aiming to redesign the topography of the lakes and improve access to all swims.
Fish Stock and Angling Opportunities
The fish stock in all three lakes has been significantly increased, with larger types of many coarse fish, including plump carp weighing over 33lb. The fishery caters to match anglers and pleasure anglers alike, while maintaining the pleasant surroundings of the Garden of England.
