The Clearwater Lakes Fishery in Doncaster markets itself as the “future of fishing.” This location features three lakes and a total of 128 pegs, making it a spacious and broad spot for angling enjoyment.
The fun starts with Alder Lake, which contains the first 37 pegs. This spot is open for day and match fishing and is packed with carp, chub, bream, barbel, ide, roach, and tench.
Beach Lake is also open for day and match fishing. This spot features 47 pegs. It’s stocked with carp, chub, bream, barbel, ide, roach, and tench.
Cedar Lake is, as of this writing and according to the Clearwater Lakes website, not open yet. This spot will have 28 pegs and will be operational for day and match fishing.
What size do the fish go to?
Common and mirror carp in Alder Lake and Beach Lake weigh up to 14 pounds, while bream clocks in at up to four pounds.
What tactics work well?
Anglers at Clearwater Lakes Fishery must follow all rules when on the premises.
No keepnets.
Anglers may use one landing per person.
Landing nets must be approved for carp fishing.
Please read all bait and fishery rules before taking part. There is a fishery notice board on the property that visitors should consult.
No music, dogs, bicycles, or dogs on bicycles playing music.
