Fishery Information
Located in the picturesque Shropshire countryside just outside of Market Drayton, Colehurst Lake is a family-friendly camping site that offers excellent fishing experience. There are 2 spring-fed pools on site that were originally formed in 1990. This fabulous venue is home to carp, roach, pike and perch.
Surrounded by woodland and fields, Colehurst Lake is the biggest pool on site. There are 16 pegs on this water, a good number of which can be used for campfires.
Maylea Pool is a small pool that has 10 pegs. Having a depth of up to 9 feet, this water is deeper than Colehurst Lake.
Day tickets are allowed for fishery. Campfires are available for overnight stays.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp go to 12 lbs, pike to 15 lbs and perch to 1.5 lbs.
