Corby Boating Lake is part of an environmental project and because of that its a lovely lace to fish with a lot of bird life such as geese and swans. Don’t be surprised if you see kingfishers as well during your time fishing.
The one downside with this lake is that at certain times on certain days some pegs are not available. This is because they are used for a model boating club who also use the lake. Please double check on their website to make the availability.
This lake can be night fished but it has to be arranged by appointment only.
Matches do take place at times so its worth checking there is not one on before you go.
