Fishery Information
The Cornfield Farm Equestrian Centre, Burnley, Lancashire is home to the Cornfield Farm Fishery. There are three lakes that make up the fishery.
The first lake is called the Main Lake, and it has ten pegs and a tiny island in the middle. Tench, Roach, Chub, Barbel, and Carp are only few of the fish species stocked into it.
In addition to the Main Lake, there is also a match canal that is around 11–12 meters wide and contains a total of 26 pegs. The match canal is home to fish such as carp, tench, roach, golden orfe, and barbel.
The last and most recent lake is the Small Canal, and it features an intriguing island in the middle. It has a variety of fish, including carp, tench, chub, and skimmers.
What size do the fish go to?
Chub up to about 3lb, Barbel and Carp to around 15lb
