Cottington Lakes Fishery Information
Situated in Eastry, Sandwich, Cottington lakes has firmly established itself as one of the leading day ticket fisheries in the South East. The site provides ideal grounds for novices as well as more seasoned carp anglers.
The lakes offer a healthy stock of carp, as well as providing an altogether different challenge in winter for the angler who is seeking out Pike.
What size do the fish go to?
Commons and Mirrors are caught with frequency in double figure weights, and have come in as high as 44lbs. Anglers also report recurring catches of Pike that average in at 25lbs.
What tactics work well?
Utilising the feeder with sweetcorn and worms has resulted in excellent results for Carp. During the winter months, it is also advisable to try using pellets and boilies.

Clean toilet and shower facilities are available as well as an on-site tackle shop, café and bar. There are a total of 32 caravan pitches, with 22 of them offering electric hook-ups.
