Cranleigh Fisheries is located at The Drive, Cranleigh, within the village. It consists of two ponds, each approximately ½ acre in size, surrounded mostly by back gardens of neighboring properties. The fishery has a locked gated entrance, and parking is available at the end of the drive.

What size do the fish go to?

The 1st pond primarily contains Tench, Crucian Carp, Perch, and a good head of Roach and Rudd, making it ideal for avid Silver Fishermen. The 2nd pond holds Grass Carp, Common Carp, and Mirrors, some of which exceed 20lb, catering to Carp anglers. Both ponds also offer Tench, Crucian Carp, Perch, Roach, and Rudd.

What tactics work well?

For the 1st pond, a variety of tactics can work well, especially for Silver Fishermen seeking Tench, Crucian Carp, Perch, Roach, and Rudd. The 2nd pond is suitable for Carp anglers, and traditional carp fishing tactics, such as boilies or pellets, may prove effective in catching Grass Carp, Common Carp, and Mirrors.
