Fishery Information
Cregennan Lakes has been in operation for more than two decades. It is run by the National Trust, and located on the northern slopes of Cader Idris, 800 feet above sea level, with a view of the Mawddach Estuary. Anglers are able to fish from 8:00 a.m. to one hour after sunset.
There are two natural lakes on the grounds of the establishment. The first is a big lake that covers 27 acres and has a little island in the middle. It solely contains wild brown trout. The next attraction is a tiny lake of 13 acres that is routinely replenished with blue and rainbow fish.
