Fishery Information
Open all year round, Crimple Fisheries is a day ticket fishing venue located in the idyllic Crimple Valley on the outskirts of the historic spa town of Harrogate. This 3-acre lake is well-stocked with a variety of fish including carp to 20 lbs, bream, roach, tench, rudd, chub, perch and golden orfe. It also features a long central island.
This is an excellent spot if you are looking to have a great coarse and carp fishing experience. This water is suitable for novice anglers.
To get there, follow these directions. On entering Harrogate via Wetherby Road, go past the Kestrel pub on the left hand side. Follow the road on and prior to getting to the entrance to the Yorkshire Show ground on the left hand side, there is a left turn into Rudding Lane. Take this road and then take the first right onto Crimple lane. Approximately 100 yards on the left hand side is the entrance to the fishery.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp go to 20 lbs and chub to 3 lbs.
