Fishery Information
Crossfield is a magnificent sandstone farmstead nestled in an exquisite valley – a nature sanctuary. A level path circles the fishing lake, which is conveniently located directly next to the cottages. It covers an area of around one acre and has a depth of between 12 and 18 feet.
The fishery gets its water from a natural spring. The lake contains a healthy population of Common and Mirror carp with a good weight, in addition to exceptional Roach and Bream, Rudd, Tench, and ide. Only guests staying in any of the cottages can fish in the lake.
