Fishery Information
Crouch Valley Fishery is located near Rayleigh in Essex. The Fishery is operated by Hockley Angling Club. The fishery is stocked with Carp, Bream, Tench, Roach, Perch and Rudd.
There are three lakes – Top, Left and Right Hand Lake.
Right Hand Lake is approximately 3/4 acre and has 15 fishing platforms. Stocked with F1 Carp, Barbel, Chub, Bream, Tench, Perch, Crucian Carp, Rudd, Roach, Eels and Gudgeon.
Left Lake is approximately 1-3/4 acre and has three islands. There are 24 fishing platforms, one dedicated for disabled person. Mirror, Common Carp, Barbel, Bream, Perch, Tench, Ide, Crucian Carp, Chub, Rudd, Roach, Eels and Gudgeon.
Top Lake is approximately 2 acres. There are 17 fishing platforms. Mirror, Common Carp, Barbel, Perch, Bream, Rudd, Roach.
What size do the fish go to?
Catches of Silver Fish adding up to 50lbs
What tactics work well?
Two rods maximum.
Barbless hooks only. Pole fishermen may use mirco-barbs
No bent hook rigs
No spinning or live baits allowed
What facilities are on site?
Toilet Block with access to disabled anglers.
