Fishery Information
Located in Accrington, Devine Fisheries is known throughout the North West for providing some of the best fishing opportunities. It offers anglers the opportunity ti fish in two magnificent lakes, The Runs Water, Match Lake, and the Specimen Lake.
Anglers who visit the lakes located in peaceful and picturesque settings can take in the breathtaking scenery while they cast their lines into the water. The lakes are stocked with a wide variety of Carps species, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Bream, and Tench. You can also fish for catfish in the Specimen Lake.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp in the Mach Lake can go up to 20lb. In the Specimen Lake, Carp can go up to 30lb while Catfish can go up to 75lb.
What tactics work well?
Pole, Feeder fishing. Nets and mats must be dipped on arrival, no use of barbed hooks, ad no use of nuts.
What facilities are on site?
There are toilets on the premises, right next to the lakes, which mean that anglers who have limitations will not have to travel very far. Devine Fisheries welcomes customers who are both able-bodied and disabled.
Is parking available?
There is car parking space close to each lake, which helps make the fishery very user friendly for disabled anglers.
