Draycote Water Fishery

Draycote Water, located in the heart of Warwickshire, is a favourite destination for anglers, renowned for its vibrant Draycote trout fishery and Draycote fly fishing. With a maximum depth of 70ft and spanning 630 acres, this reservoir offers an exceptional environment for fishing Draycote Water. This Draycote fishery, particularly known for its ample rainbow trout and brown trout, attracts both novice and experienced anglers.

Fishing at Draycote Water

Whether you’re interested in bank fishing or boat fishing, Draycote Water fishing provides a unique and enriching experience. Bank anglers can enjoy the natural bank at Toft Shallows, Cornfield to the Valve Tower & Rainbow Corner, providing a diverse Draycote fishing experience. Boat anglers, on the other hand, will find a fleet of 32 boats and one Wheely boat, all equipped with motors.

Draycote Water Fishing Season

The Draycote Water fishing season for 2023 runs from 1st March to 30th November. Day permits and boat rates are available by contacting the Draycote lodge. All permits offer a catch & release option, and there is no time restriction. The fishery also offers 2, 3 & 4-day fishing break packages, making it a versatile option for those planning a short fishing getaway.

Facilities at Draycote Water Fishery

Apart from exceptional Draycote trout fishery and Draycote fly fishing, the fishery offers a range of facilities for anglers. These include close parking to the water’s edge all around the reservoir, an easy-access perimeter road, and a lodge providing tickets and information. Note: given the limit on car passes for bank fishing, it’s recommended to call ahead and book a pass.

Group discounts are available when booking 5 or more boats, and junior anglers are allowed to share an adult’s permit. Angling Clubs, Competitions, and Group discounts are facilitated at Draycote Water fishing.
