Set under Cleveland Hills, Dromonby Farm Fishery is a privately owned day ticket fishing venue that is home to carp to 26 lbs, rudd to 2 lbs, tench to 3 lbs, ide to 3 lbs, roach to 2 lbs and golden orfe. This fishery is open 7 days a week, from dawn until dusk, and can accommodate match bookings for up to 15 people.
Night fishing is available by prior arrangement only. Tickets are available on the bank. Only barbless hooks are allowed on site. Keepnets are prohibited.
To get there, follow these instructions. From the South (Thirsk), head up the A19 and branch off right towards Stokesley on the A172. Pass the right turns for Carlton in Cleveland and take the next right towards Kirkby/Great Broughton. Pass Great Busby and the fishery is on the right.

What tactics work well?
Floating crusts and corn fished in the margins work well on Kirkby in the evenings. Ide responds well to maggot or bread flake.
