Fishery Information
Eastmoors Lake is a purpose built coarse fishing venue set in seventy-five acres of countryside and found in Dorset close to St. Ives.
Carp of many different species, including common, mirror, leather, and ghost carp, are in abundance in the lake. In recent years, they have become significantly larger, with many now weighing well over twenty pounds.
In addition, there are plenty of tench, with some of them weighing as much as seven and a half pounds. There are also golden tench, which stand out due to their charm. Chub, roach, and perch are the other three fish found in the lake and very popular among anglers of all experience levels, including novices.
There are some indigenous fish, such as pike and eel, in this body of water, which receives its water supply from the Moors River.
