Fishery Information

The East Park is Hull‘s most extensive park and is widely considered among the best parks in the Northern England region. The park first opened its gates to the public in 1887. The park, which has a Grade II listing, features a thriving green space where visitors can enjoy contemporary attractions and find historical treasures.

One of the many attractions in the park is a pond, and one of the most popular things to do there is go fishing. Everyone who fishes must abide by the stringent rules and regulations established by the council. One of the regulations states that anyone who fishes with a rod must have a valid rod license and produce evidence if requested by a council official or water bailiff.

Before you can fish in the pond, you will also need to purchase a day pass. Annual passes are available too. Children younger than 12 years old do not need to pay anything, but they must have an adult accompany them during their fishing expeditions.
