Edenbrook Fisheries is a small privately run fishery in the heart of Oxted, Surrey. The fishing comprises of two lakes that can both be fished on a day ticket basis. The main lake offers discerning fishing for those anglers that want to fish carp to 37lbs, while the second lake, Meridian Lake, is more of a runs water and ideal for beginners or anglers wanting big weights of carp.
What size do the fish go to?
The main lake at Edenbrook Fisheries is stocked with some lovely specimen fish with carp reaching up to 37lb. The second lake, Meridian Lake, has carp ranging from 1lb to high doubles, offering plenty of rod bending action.
What tactics work well?
The tactics that work well at Edenbrook Fisheries will depend on the type of fish that you are targeting. For carp fishing, a minimum 42″ landing net and ‘bean bag’ style unhooking mat, preferably a Carp Cradle, are required due to the size of the carp in the main lake. Boilies and other carp-specific baits can be effective, while on the Meridian Lake, a simple float and maggots set up can be effective for catching carp.
What facilities are on site?
Edenbrook Fisheries offers a range of facilities for anglers, including a toilet and shower block that is cleaned daily. Camping is also available upon request.
