The waters are clear and there are numerous fishing features. Long reeds and mature trees in the distance add to the tranquil atmosphere.
Furthermore, the location has gained notoriety with anglers for its healthy selection of Trout. The site is open for day ticket fishing, and half day passes are also available. Opening hours are from 7 am until dark. Importantly, the venue prides itself on being accessible to everyone. Therefore, several of the swims are fully accessible to the disabled and elderly anglers.
What size do the fish go to?
Brown and Rainbow Trout tend to average at around 9 lbs. However, fish are landed in frequency at double figures, with the larger species reaching 20lbs.
