Situated in Leyland, Lancashire, Farington Lodges is a tranquil location that offers excellent sport to both the beginner and more seasoned angler. The site comprises of a total of 3 lakes, all of which have numerous spacious pegs, including several that are accessible to the disabled.
The site has a variety of fishing features, such as reeds and overhanging trees, and the waters are healthily stocked with a selection of coarse fish. The waters are in the process of being developed into very good match waters, and are home to Bream, Perch, Rudd, Roach, Pike and Carp.

What size do the fish go to?
Bream, Perch, Rudd and Roach tend to weigh between 3-6lbs. Carp and Pike are frequently caught in double figures, with larger fish exceeding 20lbs.
What tactics work well?
Standard still water tactics are effective. Using a feeder with worms, sweetcorn or maggots helps to entice the larger Carp. During the warmer months, anglers should consider utilising pellets and boilies.
